The size of thick plate and its forming process requirements

In contrast, ABS thick sheet has advantages in performance, so it is the choice of thick sheet blister processing materials for manufacturers.


ABS thick sheet has excellent mechanical properties and strong wear resistance, as well as good impact strength performance. Moreover, it can be used in extremely low temperature, with good dimensional stability and oil resistance. It can be used in bearings under medium load and rotating speed. Besides ABS thick film, there are PET thick film, PVC thick film, PS thick film and so on.



Special thick film blister thickness is 0.14-8.0mm, mainly using PVC, PP, PS, HIPS, PET (including APET and PETG), ABS, PC, PE, PMMA and other materials and effects of injection type blister products. The main products include refrigerator liner, advertising light box, commodity display frame, pet cage chassis, rear shell of rear projection TV and various mechanical panels.



Thick sheet blister product molding process is mainly through the special blister molding machine to complete, which is divided into two different operation mode of automation and manual. Automatic molding is especially suitable for the production and processing of large quantities of products, because the whole process from raw materials to finished products has been automated, so the efficiency is very high, and the quality is relatively stable.



Only in the size of the product will be limited by the machine, can only meet the requirements of the size of the production of products. But the artificial molding method is relatively simple, but the efficiency is low, the labor intensity of personnel will also be relatively large. In addition to the differences in molding methods, thick film blisters also have thermosetting and thermal plasticity, the difference is that the latter can be repeated production, but the former does not have such characteristics, which is mainly related to the material characteristics used.
